If it comes back, it is yours. I dver wish to point out that the industry has a responsibility to guide authors and make responsible choices.
Slightly cheesy, but definitely a heart warming ending. Lola, the mysterious girl next door; Tahnee, the best friend though more love-hate, in favour of the hate ; Kate, the perfect, nice evrr but closet rebel I felt like the book had the right wakefiele of hope and despair.
The emotional relationships are bitterly honest. This is another book I was compulsively page flagging, trying to mark all of the amazing lines. What makes this book memorable is the outstanding prose and the loveable, rough around the edges characters. The voice is original, the characters are real, the language is startling and beautiful. Mim, on the other hand, hates everything about this place. I remember near the start of the novel there was the mention of a noose at the watchtower. I think that one symbolism says everything. Her version of wanting to get out is so honest We witness the shifts in her perception of her family, her home, and her life, and her gradual acceptance of the person she really is.

She lives in a rough neighborhood where bright futures are the rarity, not the foregone conclusion. The writing style is easily accessible, with a distinguished use of voice.
